Hello!
So today I thought I'd do a post on what I do with my hair on a normal day when I wash it because I have recently purchased new products to use on my hair. I have naturally curly hair so it is kind of hard to work with sometimes but I often just leave it as it is and let it do what it wants to! My hair has a lot of split ends so I am on a mission to get rid of them
without having to chop off my hair! I have long hair so I HATE getting
it cut because I want to get it super long. Therefore I am on a hair detox, no straighteners, no curlers, no hairspray, I am not using any products that will worsen the state of my hair!
So when I wash it I use the Tresemme Naturals shampoo and conditioner. I recently picked this up as I wanted to use a less harsh shampoo on my hair because some can be quite damaging and leave you hair dry. I saw this and it says it has lower sulphates it (this is the chemical that does bad things to your hair) and will make your hair 10x stronger after using it so I thought I'd give it a go as a first step to my hair detox.
After I have washed it I use these two products on my wet hair. These are the Toni and Guy Curl Defining Oil and Organix Moroccan Argan Oil. For the defining oil I put a little pea sized amount in my hand put my head upside down and just scrunch it into my hair for a couple of minutes. I then just spray a few sprays of the argan oil all over and then leave my hair to dry.
I love this product. It really helps make my hair look less frizzy and more curly! It is supposed to smooth out curls and make them more defined which is exactly what it does. Having curly hair can be a pain because mine can often just look tatty if I have slept on it, but using this makes it look a lot smoother and controlled!
This last product I haven't really made my mind up with, I haven't used it much yet but it seems to be doing something, however I'm not sure if that's just the other products I've been using. It is supposed to smooth frizz, reduce split ends and make your hair look healthier and shinier. It smells really nice and it comes in a little spray bottle which is quite handy because you can just spray it on and leave it. The bottle doesn't have any instructions on like whether to put it on dry or wet hair but I have been putting it on wet hair because it feels a bit greasy in your hand so I don't want to risk putting it on dry hair and then it looking greasy.
So that is my routine, I have been using these for about two weeks and I have defiantly noticed a difference so I'm a happy lady! Let me know if you have any other curly hair tips or just any to get your hair back in smooth condition with no dreaded split ends!!
Love Marie
